Competence approach for modular security vehicles

Project Approach – Concept

The visualizations shown serve a purely conceptual purpose.

The solution for modern operations

A modular, scalable system architecture for civilian, governmental and disaster-relief applications.

Flexibly configurable, adaptable to changing operational scenarios and future-proof in operation.

Maintenance & Spare Parts

Many operators of civilian and governmental security-relevant vehicle fleets face the same challenges:

High maintenance effort, expensive special tools, limited spare-part availability and complex logistics – often requiring improvised spare-part or workshop containers on site.

The result: long downtimes, high operating costs and reduced operational readiness.

This concept addresses exactly these issues.

Through well-engineered modularity, maintenance-optimized design and a clear spare-parts strategy, the core weaknesses of conventional systems are resolved.

The base vehicle relies on globally proven series technology with guaranteed spare-part availability and existing mechanic capacities – repairs and maintenance are fast, simple and possible worldwide.

A solution approach

Vehicles with modular technology

Structure & Design

The PX20 vehicle concept combines conceptually designed protection standards (target level up to VPAM 12) with urban mobility capability.

Thanks to its platform strategy (carrier vehicle + interchangeable modules), a system is created with reduced life-cycle costs and high operational flexibility.

Highlights:

• Transport capacity for up to 16 persons plus equipment
• All-wheel drive, high protection, low maintenance effort
• External armor for rapid module exchange
• Series-capable body structure independent of the chassis
• Maintenance and retrofitting without special tools

Maintrance & Spare Parts

The base vehicle is a globally proven all-wheel-drive truck – robust series technology with worldwide spare-part availability and qualified personnel.

Spare-part availability is conceptually designed for very short international delivery times.

The armored superstructures follow a new approach as well.

They are designed for fast replacement, repair or retrofitting without special expertise.

This saves time, reduces costs and increases operational readiness.
